Tutorial: How to setup a simple site from scratch (Part 3)

21) We'll set the background color for the menu module as black and select 'Multiline Menu Items' as the module.

22) Once you refresh the page, you'll see the new module in the block. Click on the link 'Multiline Menu Items'

23) We are going to change the link color to white. Note that you can control various settings for having menu items listed in the menu module. We'll choose to have any new pages being added to the site appear on the menu automatically. Once all the setting are defined, press 'Save the Change' button.

24) Go back to the site and refresh the browser. You'll see the site with the menu module.

25) Hopefully, you are now somewhat familiar with the process of adding a block and introducing a module to the block's unit. Let's now add a new block to the home page and call this block, 'Content' with the order number of 300. We'll choose to have this block appear just on the home page.

26) We'll add a general text module to the home page. We'll also assign a background color to the unit.

27) Click on the link and access the module settings

28) By default, this module automatically inserts dummy text. You can modify the dummy text or add your own content.

29) We've now modified the content. You can play with this WYSIWYG editor to easily manipulate the layout or content.

30) Go to the home page and refresh your browser. You'll see the site with the new content.
